Geocode

What is a Google Geocode and why would I use it?

A geocode, otherwise known as a geofence, allows you to set a physical location so only people in that physical location can enter the draw. This is a beneficial feature if you want to run a giveaway at a specific event, like a sporting event or a trade show. You can geocode the giveaway to be only available to the people in that specific arena, for example.

How do I enable geocoding?

  1. On a campaign's integration page, click enabled on the geocoding tile, you can geocode your campaign with our Google Maps integration.

  1. Make sure your location settings are enabled.

  1. Select the area where your campaign will take place by either moving the circle on the map:
  2. Or by adding the specific coordinates in the fields.

  1. Once set, only people in your specific radius will be able to enter your draw.
