What is a contact?
A contact is an individual who has engaged with your brand through a Drawbridge campaign, form, purchase, workflow, or connected integration.
What’s the difference between a lead and a contact?
A lead is someone who engages with a specific Drawbridge campaign. A contact is a person stored in your contact database, allowing you to segment them, communicate with them, and include them in future marketing campaigns.
Where can I view my contacts?
All contacts can be viewed and managed from the Segments section of Drawbridge.
What information is stored for a contact?
Information may include name, email address, phone number, campaign activity, submissions, purchases, consent status, and other data collected through your campaigns.
What is a segment?
A segment is a group of contacts that meet specific criteria.
Examples include:
- Contacts from a specific campaign
- Customers who made a purchase
- Contacts located in a specific region
- Subscribers who have not engaged recently
Why should I use segments?
Segments help you organize audiences and create more targeted communications, automations, and marketing campaigns.
How do I create a segment?
In the Automations section or your organization, select Segments. Click Enable Segments (first time only), then on the Manage button to begin organizing your contacts.
Do segments update automatically?
Yes. Dynamic segments automatically update as contacts meet or no longer meet the segment criteria.
Can a contact belong to multiple segments?
Yes. A single contact can belong to multiple segments simultaneously.
